About APFIM

APFIM (Adams Parents for Instrumental Music) is a volunteer booster organization whose primary goal is to offer support through time and finances to the director and students involved in the Rochester Adams Bands.

Being involved is a lot of fun and a great way to meet others. APFIM members are able to be directly involved in their child's music education experience. Fundraisers are made possible by APFIM for students. Raised funds can be applied toward trips and other band-related activities. APFIM also organizes many band family activities.

Meetings are held 6 times a year and dates and times are posted on the website.  Meetings are generally held in Room 204 and/or on Zoom and are the best overall source of information regarding current & future band activities. Everyone is welcome to attend!

If you would like to volunteer or have any questions about APFIM, please contact an Executive Board Member.

Our Mission Statement

APFIM (Adams Parents for Instrumental Music) is a volunteer booster organization that supports Rochester Adams Bands Programs through volunteering and providing funding. Our Bands Program includes the Marching Band, the Jazz Band, the Concert Band, the Symphony Band and the Wind Ensemble Band. This support enables our band director and our students to focus more on their performances, competitions and musical education.

As an APFIM member, you will help ensure the bands activities are well-supported in all senses of the word. Through APFIM, parents can be directly involved in their child's music education experience. It is also a great way to meet and make friends with other parents in the community who share this important, common interest; our children's musical education.
